Greenberg Traurig shareholders Michele L. Stocker and Jennifer L. Gray will speak at the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) Legal Issues and Regulatory Compliance Conference. The conference will be held May 3-6 at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers in Chicago, Illinois.

Stocker will participate in the May 4 session, Major Litigation Update, from 1:30 2:45 p.m. The discussion will focus on major litigation, including recent cases heard by the Supreme Court involving the Administrative Procedure Act and disparate impact. Other important cases and case trends in federal and state courts will also be considered.
Gray, a shareholder in the firms Financial Services Litigation Practice in Los Angeles, will speak at the May 3 session entitled Enforcement Litigation from 2:00 3:15 p.m. This session will review state and federal enforcement claims against the industry. These include claims under RESPA Section 8, Unfair, Deceptive, or Abusive Acts or Practices (UDAAP) and other federal and state laws.
Based in the firms Fort Lauderdale, Florida office, Stocker is a commercial litigator with a broad range of experience representing clients in the financial services industry including regional and national banks, loan servicers, consumer finance companies, mortgage bankers, credit card issuers, debt buyers and third-party debt collectors.
